Daniel joined the PACE Group in 2003. He
previously served as the Executive Director of the Franklin
County Development Authority in Alabama. Daniel has conducted
economic development, chamber of commerce, government, and healthcare
searches.
The Franklin County Development Authority was a start-up organization
that hired Daniel to be its first Director. During his time
in Franklin County, Daniel announced over 600 new jobs with
investments totaling over $10,000,000 in just 18 months.
Before heading up economic development efforts in Franklin County,
Alabama, Daniel served under Kentucky Governor Paul Patton of
Kentucky as the youngest Director in the Revenue Cabinet. He
managed the $150M Coal Severance Tax program for the cabinet;
which is an Economic Development Fund for coal producing counties.
Before returning to public service, Daniel served in the private
sector with Mountain Stone Products of Bowling Green, Kentucky.
He was responsible for all of the business aspects of this small
company including sales, marketing, and business development.
Upon graduation from college Daniel was asked by Governor Patton
to join his staff and was quickly promoted to Deputy Director
of Appalachian Development. In this capacity he was able to
help create thousands of jobs in the Eastern part of Kentucky.
Daniel is a graduate of Millsaps College where he earned a degree
in Business Administration. He and his wife, Nikki, have two
children, Grace and Vince.
